Taking to Instagram, Ankita dropped a video montage featuring her photos as Archana. In the caption, she thanked show’s producer Ekta Kapoor for putting faith in her and giving her opportunity to play the lead. Ankita called the show her first ever baby. She also revealed that she is still identified by strangers as ‘Arch’ from ‘Pavitra Rishta.

As soon as netizens noticed that Ankita has avoided mentioning Sushant in her post and has edited her pictures to remove the late star, they started slamming her. One user wrote, “It would have been nice if Sushant’s photo was also posted.” Another asked, “Why did you not share pic of Sushant?” A third one penned, ““Not a single mention or even a photo of Sushant singh rajput sir?. Not expected from you, Ankita mam- The show was equally loved for sushant sir’s innocent acting as well.”

For the unknown, Ankita and Sushant starred together in Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Pavitra Rishta’.
