Ravi Teja aka Mass Maharaja’s recent release, Eagle, is enjoying a safe run at the Box Office. The film, released on February 9, has been trending on Twitter ever since its release, creating a huge buzz on social media. Read further to know how much the Telugu movie has done business on its 1st weekend at the Tollywood Box Office.

While the film’s overall opening weekend collections as a whole seem fine, the fact that it saw a drop on Saturday and Sunday cannot be ignored. These signs suggest that Eagle’s box office collections may decrease throughout the week.

Eagle opened with 6.2 crore business, with 6.1 crore from its Telugu version and 0.1 crore from its Hindi version. On Day 2 (Saturday), the movie collected 5 crore, with 4.87 crore from its Telugu version and 0.13 crore from Hindi. On its Day 3 (Sunday), Eagle earned 4.70 crore, as per early estimates. Directed by Karthik Gattamneni, the movie’s opening weekend collections stand at 15.90 crore (net India).

It should have ideally crossed the 20 crore mark by now, if not for the dip on Day 2 and 3.

Saindhav’s lifetime box office collection

Released on January 13, 2024, Saidhav, starring Venkatesh, turned out to be a Box office dud. Both critics and audience gave a thumbs down to the film, which affected its collections. The movie’s initial success was short-lived as its collections diminished drastically within the first week of its release. The daily collections decreased to below 1 crore, indicating a lack of audience interest. Saindhav could only collect a total of 15 crore net at the Indian box office, which translates to 17.70 crore gross, marking a disappointing outcome for its producers.

In just three days, Eagle surpassed Saindhav’s lifetime collections.

Eagle’s 1st week box office collection

The success of the Ravi Teja-starrer’s first week at the box office will depend on positive word-of-mouth. Although there has been a slight dip in collections over the weekend, it remains to be seen whether the film can maintain its weekday earnings in the range of 1-2 crore. If it does, then Eagle is likely to reach the 20 crore mark.
