Sidharth Malhotra starrer Yodha to release on March 15, 2024

Sidharth Malhotra starrer Yodha is one of the most highly anticipated films. It has been in the news since its announcement. Recently, Karan Johar has announced the release date of Yodha. It was supposed to be released on December 8 but today makers have surprised everyone. Once again Yodha’s release has been postponed. Karan Johar officially confirmed that the film is now scheduled to hit the screens in March 2024.

He took to his Instagram stories and wrote, “We are all geared up, ready to take over the skies with full power and force!!!! #Yodha is arriving in cinemas on 15th March, 2024! Buckle up.” He also shared new posters from film featuring Sidharth Malhotra. The actor also took to his social media handle and announced the same. It is worth mentioning here that earlier, Yodha was releasing on December 15, the makers then preponed its release and made it to December 8. It was clashing with Katrina Kaif’s Merry Christmas.

Take a look here:

Earlier this year, Karan Johar seemed upset with Katrina Kaif-Vijay Sethupathi starrer Merry Christmas clashing with Sidharth Malhotra’s Yodha. He penned a cryptic note expressing his displeasure of films announcing a clashing release date without informing in advance. The note came just hours after it was announced that Merry Christmas would release on December 15.

“Clashing on a date without the courtesy of a phone call is hopefully not the way forward for the studios and producers… If we don’t stand united in these tough and challenging theatrical days then calling us a fraternity is futile,” Karan Johar wrote.

Coming to Yodha, the film stars Sidharth Malhotra, Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna in lead roles. The film is touted to be one of a kind action entertainer.

Notably, Merry Christmas is shot in two languages, with different supporting actors. The Hindi version co-stars Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Pratima Kannan, and Tinnu Anand, while the Tamil version has Radhika Sarathkumar, Shanmugaraja, Kevin Jay Babu, and Rajesh Williams in the same roles.
