In 1992, a journalist wrote an article about him and after reading it Shah Rukh Khan got angry. “My anger was at its peak,” said Shah Rukh Khan while sharing the story. He called the journalist and asked him to remove the article. The journalist refused to do so. “So I went straight to his office and started assaulting him. After reaching the office, I created a scene,” confessed the actor.

After this incident, the journalist complained about the actor. The police arrested him and took him to Bandra Police Station. The actor was also put into jail. This incident made Shah Rukh Khan realise that his actions were wrong and he felt guilty. Later, the actor requested the police to release him. The actor was released from jail after an agreement with the police. The cop released the actor after taking an autograph from the actor

Two years later, the actor apologised to the journalist after he was convinced that the story was not written by him.
