Malayalam actor Asif Ali is set to enthral his fans with his upcoming film Thalavan, directed by Jis Joy. The movie features a stellar cast including Biju Menon, Asif Ali, Ranjith and Jaffar Idukki in lead roles, marking the reunion of Biju Menon and Asif Ali after eight years since their last collaboration in the 2016 film Anuraga Karikkin Vellam. The duo will portray the roles of police officers grappling with hierarchical conflicts within the police station.
Celebrating his 38th birthday on February 4, Asif Ali shared exciting news about his future movie projects. On this occasion, the makers of Thalavan unveiled a makeover video showcasing the actor’s transformation for the cop role. Asif Ali has previously essayed cop roles in films like Ithu Thaanda Police and Kooman.
Thalavan is produced by Arun Narayana and Sijo Sebastian under the banners of Arun Narayan Productions and London Studios. The movie’s music is composed by Deepak Dev. The makers have also recently released the teaser, where Asif Ali and Biju Menon, in lead roles, appear in intense moments during a police station investigation. While the release date of Thalavan is yet to be announced, Asif Ali, on his birthday, disclosed his collaboration with actor Suraj Venjaramoodu for an upcoming movie. Set to commence shooting on February 12, the film will be directed by Nahas Nazar.
