Kareena Kapoor Khan recently watched Vikrant Massey’s 12th Fail and shared a review filled with words of praise.
Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s film, 12th Fail, has propelled Vikrant Massey’s career to new heights. Alongside professional success, Vikrant is also enjoying personal bliss with the arrival of his son, Vardaan. His trajectory in the industry has only been ascending, with 12th Fail marking 25 successful weeks in cinemas. Not just this, his film is also gearing up for a release in China. His movie has also garnered praise from audiences and celebrities, with Kareena Kapoor Khan being one of them. And Vikrant Massey is deeply grateful for the recognition and support.
After watching the film, Kareena Kapoor Khan shared a review full of words of praise. “12th Fail. Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Vikrant Massey, Medha Shankar, Anant V Joshi, Anshumaan Pushkar and the entire cast and crew, legend”
Vikrant Massey’s response? He shared, “Bas, ab mai retire ho sakta hu. Thank you so so much ma’am! You have no idea what this means to me.”
Now, in a recent interview with ETimes, Vikrant Massey once again expressed his heartfelt gratitude for Kareena’s message. “Like most of us, I am in awe of her. I love her immensely. She was generous enough to take time out and watch the movie. And she actually does not watch a lot of movies. Despite that, for her to make time, watch 12th Fail, and then go appreciate my work publicity, I wonder, what else can I ask for?” he said.
Vikrant Massey went on to reveal that Kareena Kapoor is her “childhood crush”.
Back in 2023, Vikrant Massey had a fanboy moment with Kareena Kapoor. Sharing BTS photos from an event with her, Vikrant wrote, “I’ve always loved her. But this day, I fell in love all over again.” While fans adored their photograph, others also flooded the post with comments like, “Which film is cooking?”
