Vijay Babu’s Malayalam Film Mother Mary Goes On Floors

The shooting of Mother Mary started on February 28 at the Pinangode Kavumandham, in Kerala.

The shooting for the upcoming Malayalam film titled Mother Mary has commenced. The film is a story about an elderly mother and her son, which is being deemed as a touching family drama, as per reports.

Mother Mary stars Vijay Babu as the protagonist. As per the reports, the plot of the film is set against the backdrop of the Malabar High Range. It is being touted as an emotional family drama which captures the heartfelt moments between the mother and son. The mother suffers from the condition of OCD and memory loss, so to take care of her, her son James quits his high-profile job in the US, but things take a dark turn, as he starts to become an enemy to his mother.

As per reports, the shoot of the film commenced on February 28 at Pinangode Kavumandham, near Kalpetta, Kerala. Following a muhrat ceremony which was graced by family, cast and crew members, the makers started the shoot. The switch-on ritual was performed by Father Mathew Mukkattu Kavungal.

Mother Mary is being helmed by the debutant filmmaker Attik Rahman Watikal and stars Vijay Babu and Lali PM as leads. The cast of the film also includes names like Ansil, Navas Vallikkunnu, and Anoop Menon, along with some new faces. Farhad K Anand and Noushad Alathur are producing the film under the banner of Mushroom Visual Media. The music in the film is composed by Santhosh Kumar, on the vocals of Babuvappad, K J Manoj. The cinematography of the film is being handled by Suresh Red One, and the editor is Jarshaj. Attik Rahman Watikal is also the writer of Mother Mary.

The rest of the crew of the film includes Ramesh Kumar and Yusuf Ali, as the associate directors, while the makeup and costume are being done by Airport Babu, and Razzaq Tirur respectively.
