In the film, he shared the screen space with Mammootty. His outstanding performance earned him recognition as the Best Newcomer at various prestigious awards ceremonies.

But he got his breakthrough after appearing in the 2012 film Mallu Singh, directed by Vyshakh, where he starred alongside Kunchacko Boban.
