Tom Hiddleston Thinks Shah Rukh Khan Would Be ‘Great’ As Loki: ‘He Would Be A Good Variant’
Tom Hiddleson is of the opinion that Shah Rukh Khan will make for a good Loki.
Tom Hiddleston has portrayed the character of Loki since 2011 and began starring in his spin-off show in 2021.
Shah Rukh Khan is having an amazing year with his films grossing over Rs 2000 crore worldwide. Recently, actor Tom Hiddleston praised the superstar, saying he would be a great fit for a Bollywood version of Loki. Tom has spoken fondly of the Bollywood superstar before as well.
Thinking of SRK in Loki’s role, he told Bollywood Hungama, “He would be great. He’s a good variant I think.” Tom had earlier spoken about watching Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic film, Devdas, in the UK and said that he found it “extraordinary”. He had told NDTV, “I remember it was quite a long time ago now. I remember going to see Devdas. I mean that’s quite an old film. I remember going to see that at my local cinema, and it was such an extraordinary experience. I would say I have never seen anything like that. So, yeah I remember that very much.”

The second season of Tom’s show, Loki, recently concluded, receiving a relatively subdued response compared to the first season. In the Marvel movies, the character Loki met his demise in Avengers: Infinity War. It remains uncertain whether he will be resurrected or appear in other timelines in the films. However, based on the actor’s recent interview with Jimmy Fallon, it seems this might be his final appearance as Loki.
After Disney + Hotstar shared Tom Hiddleston’s promotional video on Twitter, Shahrukh Khan had the sweetest reply. He re-tweeted the video featuring Hiddleston in his caption, “You are kind, God of Mischief… hope there’s no mischief behind this claim though. Lots of love Tom and can’t wait to binge Loki!!! Starting now- Ep 1!”
