Tiger vs Pathaan: Aditya Chopra Narrated Script To Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan? What We Know

Looks like the spy film starring Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan is happening after all.
In 2022, speculations were rife that Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan were set to come together on India’s biggest action movie, Tiger vs. Pathaan, which was being produced by YRF. While there were initial reports of Aditya Chopra planning a joint script narration session for the two megastars, it has now been confirmed that the film was actually presented to the two Khans individually during separate meetings over a month ago.
A trade source shared with DNA, “Tiger vs Pathaan’s script is locked after the two mega-stars of Hindi cinema gave their nod to the script. This film is a huge milestone moment because it sees the two giants of Indian cinema to come together for a full-fledged film after their box office juggernaut Karan Arjun.”
“They had to first love the script and get convinced that it has the goods to satisfy the expectations of people about their big on-screen reunion. Aditya Chopra held individual meetings with SRK and Salman respectively and narrated the film to them. The superstars have loved the story and the film will now go on floors in March”, the source added.
While the plot of the movie remains unclear, the title indicates it might chronicle a fierce face-off between India’s two biggest superstars – Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. The spy universe includes the first and second installments of Tiger film, War, and the recently released Pathaan. Including War 2, Tiger VS Pathaan becomes the seventh movie in the Umbrella franchise. The upcoming title of the universe includes Tiger 3 starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, which will hit the big screens during Diwali 2023.
According to the sources close to the Entertainment Portal Bollywood Hungama, the much-hyped film that will be helmed by Siddharth Anand is going to be a costly affair. The source had earlier revealed, “This film is mounted on a huge scale. As a result, its budget will be sky-high. Aditya Chopra and his team have locked the budget of Tiger vs Pathaan at Rs. 300 crores.”
