Shilpa Shetty praised Raj Kundra’s debut film UT 69, which highlights the businessman’s journey inside the jail.
Raj Kundra made his acting debut with the recently released film UT-69. The film is based on the time Raj spent in jail in 2022 after he was arrested in connection to a pornography case. As we await the box office verdict of the film, Raj Kundra’s wife and actress Shilpa Shetty has given a sweet shoutout to her hubby, in the light of the film’s release.
On Friday, Shilpa Shetty took to her X(formerly Twitter) handle and penned a note for Raj Kundra. It read, “My dearest Cookie, I know I say many things… but, this is something I want you to remember! YOU are special & brave, and I am soooo proud of you ♥️ Many people go through hardships… some become cynical, some bitter, & some even change. What is admirable is how YOU have taken it all in your stride and embraced life’s journey with positivity.”

She continued, “#UT69 celebrates the human spirit and shows how one can turn adversities into strength. You’re a living example of that.

At the trailer launch of UT 69, Raj had exclusively told News18 about how his wife, Shilpa, reacted when he first expressed his desire of making a film on himself. “She was a few feet away from me when I decided to tell her that I am making a film. I didn’t want to go too close to her (laughs), he said.
UT 69 has hit the theatres on November 3.
