Crew, a heist comedy headlined by Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Kriti Sanon, has finally arrived in theatres and has opened to a warm response on its first day. The Bollywood heist film led by a woman registered a fantastic opening as it collected Rs 10.28 crores in India. With this achievement, the film has clinched the title of the highest opening-day grosser for any female lead film in India. On the occasion, Shanaya Kapoor gave a shout-out to the female protagonists of the recently released film while also cheering for her sister Rhea Kapoor.

On Saturday, Shanaya dropped a heartwarming picture featuring Kriti Sanon, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Rhea Kapoor. In the picture, the four divas can be seen flashing a bright smile while posing for the camera. Shanaya accompanied the picture with a text that read, “Who runs the world? Girls.” She also added the track Naina from their film Crew to the background.

Speaking of Crew, the film is set against the backdrop of the aviation industry. Directed by Rajesh A. Krishnan, the film revolves around the lives of in-flight supervisor Geeta Sethi, senior flight attendant Jasmine Rana, and junior flight attendant Divya Bajwa, working with Kohinoor Airlines. Kohinoor Airlines, in the film, is going through a rough patch of bankruptcy and the trio hasn’t been paid their salaries for the last six months. In search of a better life, the female protagonists decide to steal the slabs of gold recovered from their boss who suddenly dies in the airbus.

Coming back to Shanaya Kapoor, the diva has garnered a sizable fan following even before her debut in the acting industry. The star kid, however, is all set for her debut this year with the Malayalam film Vrushabha. The Nanda Kishore directorial will be headlined by Mohanlal. Besides, Shanaya has also been reported to make her Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year 3. However, no official confirmation about her collaboration with Dharma Productions has been made yet.
