Shaitaan Box Office Day 22: Ajay Devgn’s Film Is Among Holdover Releases, All Eyes On Growth Today!
Even though new releases Crew and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire are doing fabulous business at the box office, amongst holdover releases, it’s Shaitaan who is collecting the best. There have been multiple films that have been released post its arrival, but still the Ajay Devgn and Madhavan starrer is bringing the most numbers with 1.30 crores* coming in.
There is a drop from Thursday, which has collections of 1.70 crores, and that’s expected too, since Shaitaan has now reached its fourth week. With new releases arriving, the showcasing has been reduced as well. Also, it has done ample business already in the first three weeks and there the competition wasn’t much either, due to which the film could have a free run. However, neither Crew nor Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire are pushovers, which means Shaitaan will now have to keep pursuing its case.
That’s why it would be exciting to see whether that substantial Saturday jump comes in now. That was the case in the last couple of weeks when the Friday to Saturday jump was really good, though that may not happen today because, first and foremost, yesterday was anyways a partial holiday, and then this weekend, the competition is pretty substantial. That said, Shaitaan is marching well towards 150 crores lifetime with 139.02 crores* already in its kitty.
