Meera Jasmine is set to appear in the upcoming Malayalam movie Queen Elizabeth, directed by M Padmakumar and co-starring Narain. The film, which began filming in Kochi, revealed its first look featuring Meera in April this year. The makers have recently released the lyrical song titled Chembakapooventhe from Queen Elizabeth. Sung by Haricharan, the song’s music is composed by Ranjin Raj, with lyrics penned by Joe Paul. It is a soothing love tune with lyrics praising Meera Jasmine’s character by the protagonist. The film is being produced by M Padmakumar, Ranjith Manambarakkat, and Sreeram Manambarakkat. Meera Jasmine, who recently returned to the screen with Sathyan Anthikad’s Makal after a break, was last seen in Tamil cinema in Vingyani (2014) and in the Telugu film Moksha (2013). Additionally, she is currently involved in a Tamil-Telugu bilingual project titled Vimanam.
