Samantha Ruth Prabhu Wants ‘No Connection With Her Past’ With Naga Chaitanya After Divorce: Report

Samantha Ruth Prabhu doesn’t want people to talk about her and Naga Chaitanya’s past anymore, a new report has claimed. Samantha and Chay split in 2021, leaving fans in shock. Last year, Chaitanya confirmed that their divorce has come through as well and they are moving on with their respective lives. However, they were recently under one roof. They were seen attending the slate announcement of an OTT platform but never crossed paths.
At the event, Samantha joined Varun Dhawan to announce Citadel: Honey Bunny. Meanwhile, Naga Chaitanya was present at the event for the success of his recent web series Dhootha. A source told BollywoodLife that the decision to not cross paths was concious for the former couple doesn’t want to spark reconciliation rumours. The report also claimed that Samantha ‘wants to keep no connection with her past.’
“Samantha will never talk about her past and she wants the chatter only around her professional life, Sam and Chay have both moved on, and they want their fans to get over them as well and not hope for any reconciliation,” the insider said.
“Recently at Amazon Prime event too, Sam and Chay both had planned their schedules and made sure they did not bump into each other so that they are not written about. Samantha has come a lo ng way and is coping with her health and she is extremely focused only on making her acting career stronger,” the grapevine added.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya got married in 2017 after 7 years of dating. They first met on the sets of their film Ye Maaya Chesave in 2009. They decided to separate from each other in October 2021 during their fourth year of marriage. While Samantha is taking a hiatus from work after her diagnosis of myositis, Naga Chaitanya will be seen in Thandel opposite Sai Pallavi.
