Samantha Ruth Prabhu Reveals Mytosis Treatment ‘Messed Up’ Her Skin, Kushi Star Says ‘I Had To…’

Samantha Ruth Prabhu also shared that she does not want to take up any project for atleast a year and rather wants to spend time travelling around the world.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu is currently on a break from acting and is enjoying some quality time in US. Amid her vacation, the Kushi actress recently interected with her fans via a live session on social media. Responding to one of the fans, Samantha mentioned how her skin is not perfect and revealed that the mytosis treatment has ‘messed’ it up.

“It’s absolutely not (clear). Chinmayi (the singer, who is also the founder of the skincare brand) is going to fix that. She has promised that she is going to make my skin glossy (laughs). Actually, because of the issue (myositis), I had to be on so much of steroids. I had to do a lot of steroid shots. So, it really messed up my skin and gave me a lot of pigmentation. So, this is filter guys,” Samantha wrote as quoted by Indian Express.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu further shared that she does not want to take up any project for atleast a year and rather, wants to spend time travelling around the world. However, the actress also clarified that she would love to do action films in the future. “One thing I am really excited about is action. There’s quite a bit coming up in Citadel. It was absolutely hard. It was hard, but it was fun. I love the challenge. I can’t wait for you guys to see it. I think action is it for me,” she said.

Meanwhile, Samantha was recently seen in Kushi opposite Vijay Deverakonda. She will soon be seen in the Indian version of Citadel which also stars Varun Dhawan. It is helmed by The Family Man directors Raj and DK. While not much about Citadel India is known as of now, Priyanka Chopra recently revealed that the storylines are connected to each other. “Raj and DK are so amazing, so talented and they’ll bring their own spin to the Indian installment. So, I’m very excited,” she said.
