Salman Khan was seen teasing Kangana Ranaut on the recent episode of Bigg Boss 17.
Salman Khan was seen teasing Kangana Ranaut during her recent appearance on Bigg Boss 17. The actor, who is also the host of the reality show, was speaking to Kangana about her upcoming film Tejas. The film is set to release this weekend. On the show, Kangana revealed that Tejas is India’s first aerial action film and it is a ‘love letter’ to the defence soldiers. Salman immediately teased Kangana, comparing Tejas with Tom Cruise’s iconic film Top Gun.
“Humare jitne bhi defence mein soldiers hai, unke liye humari taraf se ek love letter hai (Tejas),” Kangana said. When Salman re-introduced her film, “Inki film ka naam hai Tejas,” Kangana added, “And this is India’s first aerial action film.”
Salman teased her, “Ahan, Top Gun ko takkar dogi aap aisa lag raha hai mujhe.” His comment left Kangana blushing. Kangana said that though India doesn’t have a budget like Top Gun but it has the right sentiments in place to give Top Gun a challenge.
In Tejas, Kangana Ranaut is playing the role of an Air Force pilot who is on a mission to fight terrorism. Reportedly, Kangana dedicated four months to rigorous training to master the specialised combat techniques employed by the Indian forces, for her film. Produced by RSVP, the film boasts a talented ensemble cast, including Anshul Chauhan, Varun Mitra, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Vishak Nair in pivotal roles. The movie is directed by Sarvesh Mewara and produced by Ronnie Screwvala. Tejas is scheduled for a theatrical release on October 27.
Meanwhile, on Bigg Boss 17, Kangana was seen interacting with Ankita Lokhande and Munawar Faruqui, both of them are currently in the Bigg Boss house as contestants. Kangana worked with Ankita in Manikarnika and was the host of Lock Upp, a show that Munawar won.
