Well, now there is another update about his next film titled Spirit. The film was announced earlier but Pinkvilla has reported that the actor will begin shooting in December 2024. The big update was given by director Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

During the pre-release event of Vishwak Sen’s Gaami, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga gave an interesting update about his next film Spirit. He revealed that the shooting of Spirit will start sometime at the end of 2024. This statement from the sensational director was met with hoots and cheers from the members at the event. The news has raised the excitement level among the fans. Pinkvilla also mentioned in its report that Prabhas is set to play the role of an angry young cop. The film will be in Sandeep’s style, with no compromise on violence. Production designer Suresh Selvarajan had also revealed earlier that Prabhas’ Spirit will be much bigger and grander than Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal. The film will be bankrolled by Kabir Singh and Animal producer Bhushan Kumar under the T-Series banner.

Apart from this Sandeep Reddy Vanga is currently basking under the success of Animal. According to Filmfare, he is reportedly in talks with Salman Khan for his upcoming dark action crime thriller. Right now, Vanga is teaming up with Allu Arjun for his other project. He has also shared his wish to work with big stars like Chiranjeevi and Shah Rukh Khan.

Director Nag Ashwin at the Synapse 2024 event in Gurgaon revealed that the film’s timeline will commence with Mahabharat. He stated, “The film starts with Mahabharat and ends in 2898 AD. It spans 6000 years in time. We tried to create worlds, imagining what they would be like while still keeping it Indian, and not make it look like Blade Runner. The film begins 6000 years behind 2898 AD is 3102 BC, which is when the last avatar of Krishna is believed to have passed.”

Prabhas fans are eagerly anticipating his role in Kalki 2898 AD, a distinctive blend of the Mahabharat epic with time travel concepts.
