Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha got married on September 24 in Udaipur.
Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha had a dreamy wedding in Udaipur’s Leela Palace. Many photo and videos from the ceremony has gone viral garnering thousands of likes from fans, well wishers and everyone around. Now an inside photo of the couple being smeared in Haldi from the Haldi ceremony has surfaced on social media.
In the photo, Parineeti and Raghav candidly sat next to each other donning their brightest smiles. While the actress looked pretty in a deep maroon lehenga teamed with an overcoat of the same shade, the politician looked elegant in a white sherwani. Parineeti completed her look with a blingy hairband and huge golden earrings. Raghav on the other hand paired his attire with black sunglasses. They looked adorable together.
Days after Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha tied the knot, the couple issued a joint statement on Wednesday, September 27 to express gratitude towards all. The newlyweds thanked those sending wishes and shared that their blessings are ‘priceless’. “Raghav and I wanted to take a moment to say THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts,” the couple wrote.
“We are bursting with gratitude for the outpour of love and warm wishes. While we may not have had the chance to respond to each and every message personally (life’s been a whirlwind, as you can imagine), please know that we have been reading EVERYTHING with joy in our hearts,” the statement added.
“As we embark on this beautiful journey together, it mans the world to us knowing that you’re all standing by our side. Your love and blessings are truly priceless, and we could not have been more thankful,” the couple concluded.
Parineeti and Raghav’s pre-wedding ceremonies kicked off in Delhi with a Sufi night which was followed by an Ardaas ceremony. The couple then arrived in Udaipur where Parineeti’s Choora and Mehndi ceremony were held on September 23. The two also hosted a mega Sangeet ceremony on the same day. They tied the knot on September 24.
Sharing her dreamy wedding photos on social media, Parineeti had written, “From the very first chat at the breakfast table, our hearts knew. Been waiting for this day for a long time .. So blessed to finally be Mr and Mrs! Couldn’t have lived without each other .. Our forever begins now .. ”
Meanwhile, Parineeti and Raghav are likely to host a grand wedding reception in Mumbai on October 4. “The party in Chandigarh and Delhi stands cancelled as of now. Parineeti and Raghav will now be hosting their friends in Mumbai. The party is set to take place on October 4,” a source close to the couple exclusively told News18 Showsha recently.
