On Prabhas’ Birthday, His First Look Test For Kalki 2898 From Years Ago Out

Kalki 2898 AD boasts an impressive cast starring Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani, Kamal Haasan, Rana Daggubati, and others. Directors Ram Gopal Varma and SS Rajamouli have essayed cameo roles in this film. It is all set to hit the big screens on January 12 in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu, and English. A report has surfaced on social media that the director Nag Ashwin could delay the release of this film to Summers. As per India Today, Project K aka Kalki 2898 AD Part 1 could be pushed to May 9. The reason, the report claims, is that the said date is auspicious for the film’s producer, C. Aswani Dutt. Citing Telugu industry insiders, the report stated that May 9 has been lucky for the director. His films Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari and Mahanati were released on May 9 and emerged as massive blockbusters. Owing to this reason, rumours suggest that Ashwini may postpone Project K’s release date to May 9.

Makers, however, have not officially confirmed this report.

Vyjayanthi Movies had previously unveiled a glimpse of this movie on July 21 at the San Diego Comic-Con. The first glimpse featured Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Prabhas in a futuristic setting. The teaser depicts them as warriors amidst a war-like scenario. Deepika is seen lined up in a queue of soldiers and Amitabh Bachchan makes a short entry with his intense gaze. Lastly, the warrior avatar of Prabhas is released featuring a far more muscular and superior personality than followers have ever witnessed.
