Shehnaaz Gill has lent her voice to the song Dil Kya Irada Tera for Patna Shuklla’s album.

Shehnaaz Gill, who made her Bollywood debut last year with Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, has now ventured into playback singing. The actress has lent her voice to the song Dil Kya Irada Tera for the album of the film Patna Shuklla, which was released on Disney+Hotstar. In a recent development, Shehnaaz Gill shared a glimpse of herself celebrating this significant milestone.

Shehnaaz Gill excitedly shared a picture and video of herself cutting a delectable cake to commemorate her latest achievement on the Instagram handle. The cake featured an image of the actress along with the name of her latest track on it, accompanied by a QR code. In the clip, Shehnaaz can be seen joyfully dancing as the candles on the cake illuminate the room. Dressed in simple floral loungewear, the video suggests that the celebration took place at her home.

Some days ago, Shehnaaz shared the news about her playback singing debut on social media. Sharing the song video on Instagram, she wrote, “MY FIRST EVER, as a playback singer for a film. Dil Kya Irada Tera. Thank you Arbaaz Khan for giving me this opportunity. If you guys haven’t heard the song yet, tap on the link in my bio and hear it now!”

The song was composed by Samuel and Akanksha, sung by Shehnaaz Gill and written by Manoj Kumar Nath. Directed by Vivek Budakoti and Rajendra Tiwari, Patna Shuklla features Raveena Tandon in the role of Tanvi Shukla, a lawyer at the Patna District Court relegated to filing affidavits. However, the film revolves around Rinki Kumari, portrayed by Anushka Kaushik, the daughter of a rickshaw puller. Upon receiving her Bachelor’s exam results, Rinki finds herself on the failed list, despite being confident that she should have scored over 60%.

Meanwhile, Shehnaaz is gearing up for her next project, Sab First Class along with Varun Sharma. Helmed by Balwinder Singh Janjua, the film is expected to be a family entertainer. Shehnaaz last appeared in Thank You For Coming, alongside Anil Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Dolly Singh, Kusha Kapila and Shibani Bedi.

Shehnaaz Gill is popular in the Punjabi film industry. She has appeared in several music videos and films, including Kala Shah Kala and Daaka. She has also worked with rapper Badshah on a music video and co-starred in the Punjabi film Honsla Rakh, starring Diljit Dosanjh and Sonam Bajwa.
