Makers Of Vijay-starrer Thalapathy68 Fly To Bangkok For 15-day Shooting Schedule

Tamil actor Thalapathy Vijay starrer Thalapathy68 is reportedly set to hit the big screens on July 31, 2024. In the latest development, the team of Thalapathy68 have headed to Thailand for the shoot spanning around 15 days. After a break following the initial shooting schedule, the team has now headed to Bangkok for the next phase of filming.
Actor Vijay, set to attend the success celebrations for his recent release, Leo, at Nehru Stadium on November 1, is anticipated to join the team later. Following the Thailand schedule, filming is set to continue in Chennai, where a song segment has already been filmed.
The Thalapathy68 team announced their flight to Thailand via their official X account. Reportedly, the film might feature Thalapathy in a dual role, although director Venkat Prabhu, while hinting at it, has not officially confirmed it.
The film brings together a star-studded cast including Prabhu Deva, Prashanth, Sneha, Meenakshi Choudhary, Laila, Mohan, Jayaram, Ajmal Amir, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Vaibhav, Premgi, Aravind Akash, Ajay Raj, and more.
The music of the film is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, marking his second collaboration with Vijay since Pudhiya Geethai in 2003. Siddhartha Nuni handles the cinematography of Thalapathy68, while Venkat Raajen takes care of editing. Dhilip Subbarayan choreographs the high-energy stunt sequences.
Coming back to Leo, the team has received permission to host the audio launch at Nehru Stadium. The original audio launch was cancelled in September due to problems at an AR Rahman concert. While there were reports of political pressure, the makers refuted them.
Thalapathy Vijay is best known for films including Mersal, Master, Kaththi and Thuppakki. The actor was last seen in the film Leo. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film also stars Trisha Krishnan and Sanjay Dutt in the leading roles. The film has been a huge success at the box office earning around Rs 6000 crore globally.
