Kriti Sanon Recalls Being Scolded By Choreographer In Front Of 50 Models, ‘Started Crying’


Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon has carved a niche in the industry with sheer hard work and talent. She is now counted among A-list heroines of Hindi films. The actress has often enthralled audiences with her performance. She has recently won the National Award in the Best Actress category for her film ‘Mimi’. But reaching these heights in her career was no cakewalk. Kriti had her own share of struggles to attain success. In a recent interview with Curly Tales, the actress recalled an unpleasant experience from her first fashion show.

Kriti recalls being humiliated in front of 50 people

Kriti opened up on her early days. She shared that during her first ramp show, she came across a choreographer who was very rude to her after she messed up the choreography. The actress was at some farmhouse and her heels were getting stuck into the grass. She was naive as it was her first time. The choreographer began scolding her badly in front of 50 other models. Kriti kept herself composed for long but she got so hurt at a point that she started crying. The actress mentioned that she never worked with that choreographer again.

Kriti on keeping a plan B ready

Further in the interview, Kriti talked about how she kept a backup plan ready in case a career in acting did not work out. She said that coming from a middle-class, non-film family, she understood the concerns of her parents. And so to convince them, she gave her parents a plan B. The actress sat for GMAT exam while trying to make a place in the industry and got a good score too. She confessed that when a person has a backup plan, he is only passionate and not desperate.

Workwise, Kriti Sanon who appeared last in ‘Adipurush’ will come up next with ‘Ganapath’ opposite Tiger Shroff. She also has ‘The Crew’ with Kareena Kapoor and Tabu in the pipeline.
