Disney+ series The Mandalorian is on its way, whether you are prepared for it or not. The major development was teased online by actress Katee Sachhoff, who plays Bo-Katan Kryze in the digital series. Notably, the production of The Mandalorian season four was one among the many highly-anticipated projects that came to a standstill owing to the SAG-AFTRA strike. The makers breathed a fresh air of relief when the protest ended on November 9 and it didn’t take long for Katee Sackhoff to hint the show might soon hit the floors. The indication surfaced online on November 12, just two days after the months-long strike met its conclusion.

“A little Throwback Thursday since we can talk about work again. Thank you SAG-AFTRA,” wrote Katee in an Instagram post that contains a photo of her baby. She is likely travelling for her work-related commitments, which is why she mentioned, “I also miss my baby while traveling.” But what becomes the highlight is her appearance in the photo. She has donned a wig that her Star Wars character wears in the digital show. “I can’t wait to be home but also put this wig on again,” Katee Sackhoff concluded the post. If the online update is anything to go by, it appears the working of the halted show is all set to resume in full swing. Take a look at it here:

What is the Star Wars show The Mandalorian about?

The events of The Mandalorian are set 25 years before The Force Awakens and about five years after Return of the Jedi. Set on the planet Mandalorian, the series narrates the life of eponymous hero Din Djarin, a lone bounty hunter. With plenty of impromptu fights with space creatures and stormtroopers’ helmets getting impaled with sticks, viewers are taken to a whole new Star Wars universe never explored before.

After the fall of the Galactic Empire, season one shows Din Djarin in the outer reaches of the galaxy, getting hired by Imperial remnants forces. He is asked to retrieve “The Child” aka Grogu.

Season two introduces Katee Sackhoff in the series as the bounty hunter changes his mind and runs away to protect the child. He aims to reunite Grogu with his people, the Jedi. Season three continues to show them being pursued while the bounty hunter redeems his past transgressions with Grogu by his side as he receives aid from Bo-Katan Kryze.
