Inside Out 2 Teaser Offers Another Look At Riley’s New Emotion- ‘Anxiety’

The snippet gives a sneak peek into Riley’s mind and also introduces a new and unexpected emotion in orange called Anxiety.
Pixar fans, it is time to rejoice as Riley and her emotions are all set to grace the silver screens in the summer of 2024 with Inside Out 2. The makers are going out with promotions to increase the hype about the Pixar legacy, which has now become one of the highly anticipated Disney and Pixar films this year. A new promotional video was shared recently to reveal the release date of Inside Out 2.
The video begins with Joy and the next scene shows a teenage Riley with braces playing ice hockey and her various emotions like anger, fear, disgust and sadness taking turns in invoking various feelings in the adolescent. The snippet gives a sneak peek into Riley’s mind and also introduces a new and unexpected emotion in orange called Anxiety. The text in the video reads, “This is Joy coming to you live in Riley’s mind. Get on your feet and make some noise!” The video shows Riley’s anger and wanting to score a goal. The very next scene shows fear creeping in and she decides to wear her mouthguard, which she immediately regrets, as it turns out not to be hers. But, when she is unable to score the goal, Anxiety makes an entry with its baggage (pun intended).
The caption read, “Make some noise. Disney and Pixar’s Inside Out 2 is coming to theatres on June 14th with all-new emotions! Who’s ready??” and began a voting poll. The polls got more than 10,000 responses and have received 2.6 million views on Instagram. The internet was ecstatic to get the update about the release date and fans rushed to the comment section to express their opinion. A user wrote, “Anxiously waiting for anxiety.” A comment read, “Not Anxiety with the baggage! Can’t wait!” An excited fan commented, “Oh my God! Okay! It’s happening! Don’t panic! Stay calm everyone! Stay Calm!”
Meanwhile, many fans are eagerly waiting for other emotions to join the gang.
Inside Out 2 is helmed by Kelsey Mann and produced by Mark Neilsen. The Disney and Pixar’s Inside Out 2 will hit the theatres on June 14, 2024. Amy Poehler lent her voice to Joy, Phyllis Smith for Sadness, Lewis Black as Anger, Tony Hale as Fear, Liza Lapira as Disgust and Maya Hawke joined as Anxiety.
