South Korean singer IU has attained the title, The Queen of Fanservice. The 30-year-old has not only impressed the masses with her melodious vocals but she is loved by many for her devotion towards fans. Recently, the Love Wins singer was presumably spotted at an airport. In a video doing the rounds on the internet, she was seen showing her love to fans by making a hand-heart gesture towards them. However, what won her admirers over was that BLACKPINK’s IU even asked her bodyguard to display the hand-heart gesture, underlining that she was serious about fan service.

The now-viral clip was dropped on X (formerly Twitter) along with the note, “Not IU forcing her bodyguard to make hearts with her. She is SERIOUS about fan service.” The video captured the singer dressed in a pin-striped blue shirt and a pair of denim jeans. She carried a handbag, sported a cap and wore a face mask. Looking at her fans above, IU made a half-heart gesture with one hand curved over her head.

That was not all. To show how much she cares for her admirers, IU even urged her bodyguard walking beside her to display a similar heart symbol. The bodyguard executed a subtle awkward smile, before following IU’s instructions. She then turned her attention towards the other bodyguard and the two made heart gestures with their hands. Before leaving the premises, IU waved her fans goodbye.

As soon as the video surfaced on the internet, social media users reacted to it in the best way possible. “She is so cute,” said one individual. “IU is so adorable,” agreed another. “That’s so cute. The first bodyguard is so embarrassed,” noted a third person.

Meanwhile, on the work front, IU will be commencing the HER World Tour Concert in Singapore on April 20 and 21. The concert will be held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. Concerning the upcoming concert, the K-pop idol and her agency EDAM Entertainment faced backlash from the masses for illegal trading and alleged fraudulent transactions regarding the Tour. Following the controversy, the singer’s agency issued an apology over the matter and revised the ticket plan.
