As the hate campaign intensifies, Unni Mukundan remains resolute, emphasising that his film will not succumb to baseless attacks. “How low will you go to bring down a movie that hasn’t even released. This random thing of trying to kill a movie started from Jan 1 and is still going on… statements that I never made, words that I never spoke are being circulated just to bring down a cinema. Whoever is doing it, trust me, it’s just in ur dreams that either me or my cinema will fail,” he wrote in a statement shared on social media.
The hate campaign against Unni Mukundan began soon after the announcement of his latest film Jai Ganesh. False claims and fabricated statements have flooded social media, creating a distorted image of the actor. Screenshots of fake campaigns, falsely attributed to Unni Mukundan, have been widely circulated, attempting to tarnish his reputation and jeopardise the success of his upcoming project. One such misleading statement circulating on social media suggests that Unni Mukundan made divisive remarks, stating, “Those who do not prove Sri Rama Jyoti and do not call Sri Ram loudly should not watch my film!”
