Reportedly, Sunil graduated from Patkar College with a B.Sc. in Chemistry. He first laid eyes on Aparna when he was in the 12th grade, while she was in the 11th. As time went on, Sunil began spending time with older, more mature friends he’d made in college.
In an interview, Sunil revealed that there’s a Vishwas Hotel near Patkar College where Aparna was celebrating her friend’s birthday. It was there that Sunil saw Aparna for the first time and instantly fell in love. It was a classic case of love at first sight.
He went on to share that Aparna wore a bracelet with her name engraved on it, revealing her name. Despite an initial reluctance to engage in conversation, Sunil persisted in his efforts and eventually, they became friends. Over time, their friendship blossomed into love, culminating in their decision to tie the nuptial knot. Today, Aparna and Sunil are proud parents to two children, Sanika and Atharva.
On the professional front, Sunil Barve was recently featured in the Marathi TV series Sahkutumb Sahparivar, which aired on Star Pravah. This show is an official adaptation of the Tamil TV series Pandian Stores and stars Sunil Barve and Nandita Dhuri-Patkar as the main leads. The series was produced jointly by Ranjit Thakur and Hemant Ruparel under the banner of Frames Production. It concluded its run on August 3, 2023.
