Sunny’s Deol Gadar 2 is smashing records. Early estimates suggest that Gadar 2 has bagged around Rs35-40 crore nett on its first Monday. This is a record for a non-holiday first Monday. After opening to Rs40 crore nett, Gadar 2 went to pump in Rs43 crore nett, Rs51 crore nett in its opening weekend. With a stunning collection on Monday, Gadar has amassed Rs170 crore nett in four days.
Gadar 2 released across 4000 screens in India and supposedly is made at a budget of Rs90 crore, as per trade sources.
Meanwhile, the social drama OMG 2 continues to shine too as it bagged a decent Rs11 crore nett on its first Monday. The film has now bagged over Rs54 crore nett in four days. Released across 1500 screens, the Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi-starrer OMG 2 is said to be made at a budget of Rs150 crore.
