The Sunny Deol-starrer action, patriotic, family drama bagged a huge Rs55.50 crore nett on Independence Day [15 August]. This has taken Gadar 2’s five-day total to a stunning Rs226.50 crore nett, as reported by BoxOfficeIndia.com.
Made at an estimated budget of Rs90 crore, Gadar 2 has released across 4000 screens in India.
Whilst it is impossible to compete with Gadar 2, rival film OMG 2, too, has been going steady at the box office. It bagged a decent Rs16..75 crore nett on Tuesday taking its total to Rs66.25 crore nett.
Made at an estimated budget of Rs150 crore, the Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi-starrer social drama has released across 1500 screens in India.
