At the special screening of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Rani Mukerji showered praises on her co-star Shah Rukh Khan. The iconic movie also featured Kajol in the lead.

Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji, along with director Karan Johar, pleasantly surprised fans by making an unexpected visit to a Mumbai theatre during the screening of their beloved romantic drama film, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, which recently completed 25 years. During the event, the trio addressed the enthusiastic crowd.

During their fan interaction, Rani Mukerji spoke greatly of Shah Rukh Khan and called him ‘romance’. In a viral video, she can be seen saying, “Shah Rukh for me is romance itself, he’s love and I have loved Shah Rukh from the time I saw him the first time because he’s the most gracious man ever descended on planet.” The actress also lauded Karan Johar for his work in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

The screening was a grand success in the presence of the three celebrities. Shah Rukh Khan, who delivered hit romantic movies including Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, at the event said, “Ab pata nahi love story karu ya nahi karu, ab Jawan bachcho ko karne do (I don’t know if I should still do a love story; let’s leave them for younger actors).”

Taking about the impact the film had on his life, the megastar said, “Is film ka humare liye bahut hi important makaam hai humari zindagi mein, humare dilo mein (This film holds great importance in our lives.) Aap log thoda bahut samajhte ho, pura nahi samjhoge kyunki kuch kuch hota hai.”

Meanwhile, to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the romance drama Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, director Karan Johar’s banner, Dharma Productions, released behind-the-scenes photos of Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Rani Mukerji from the sets. The caption read, “Before you go down memory lane at the cinemas again, here’s a glimpse of everything that went on behind the scenes!”

Further, they also shared a video compilation of certain iconic scenes from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. The clip emphasises how the film depicted various emotions of friendship and love. “A film & emotion for an entire millennial…A story with characters, moments & music that left an indelible mark on your heart, taking you through the unforgettable journey of pyaar & Dosti. Celebrating 25 Years Of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai!” read the caption.

The screening of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai was held at PVR in Mumbai, and tickets were sold for Rs 25.
