Fighter managed to enter the 200 crore club on Monday, and it’s some sort of achievement for Bollywood during the start of 2024. With this feat, Hrithik Roshan enjoyed a surge in Star Ranking, and the same effect is seen for Siddharth Anand. After making a huge turnaround with Pathaan, he has now come closer to Rohit Shetty in the Koimoi Directors’ Ranking. Keep reading to know more!

What is Koimoi Directors’ Ranking?

For those who aren’t aware, in Koimoi Directors’ Power Index, aka Directors’ Ranking, we rank directors on the basis of their films in coveted box office clubs. For example, 100 points for a film in a 100-crore club, 200 points for a film in a 200-crore club, and so on. For each film in the top 10 grossers overseas, 50 points are given.

Siddharth Anand comes closer to Rohit Shetty!

With Fighter’s entry into the 100 crore club, Siddharth Anand gained 100 points and surpassed Rajkumar Hirani in the Directors’ Ranking. Now, with the film entering the 200 crore club, he has earned 100 more points, and the tally has moved up to 1150 points. Speaking about the position, he’s in the same second spot, but the distance between him and Rohit Shetty has become smaller.

Rohit Shetty to remain at the top?

Rohit Shetty is at the top of the ranking with 1250 points, and there’s a distance of just 100 points between him and Siddharth Anand. However, Shetty’s position is out of danger as Fighter won’t be entering the 300 crore club in India, thus killing Sid’s chance to gain 100 more points.

Also, not to forget that Shetty has his Singham Again lined up for release this year. That film will definitely take him much ahead in the points table. For Sid, he’ll have to wait till his upcoming film hits theatres. However, there is a chance that Ali Abbas Zafar might make big changes in the directors’ ranking as his Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is releasing in April. As of now, Ali has 800 points.
