Fighter Box Office Collection (After 32 Days): Hrithik Roshan’s Film Has A Decent 5th Weekend
It was a fair fifth weekend for Fighter as 2 crores* more came in. While Cinema Lovers Day’s offer on Friday helped propel the collections to an extent, there was stability on Saturday, where the balancing factor came in between increased ticket prices and reduced footfalls. Further to that though, there was an expected jump in collections all over, as a result of which the overall weekend came to being decent.
The film now stands at 212 crores*, and in the process, it has crossed Bharat’s lifetime of 211.07 crores. The next in line is Dunki, which was the last big grosser, and the Shah Rukh Khan starrer had collected 219 crores. Fighter may find itself a few crores short, but the fact still remains that the film has been acknowledged for what it stands for. This one did deserve to enter the 300 Crore Club and, at the very least, go past the 250 Crore mark. It’s unfortunate that this hasn’t happened, though the good thing is that Fighter held well and not folded up much earlier.
Hrithik Roshan now has a major film to look forward to in the form of War 2. That’s a biggie that will take a blockbuster opening as and when it arrives, and all that now one looks forward to is a rock-solid storyline with great visuals and performances to compliment that as well so that the superstar gets a well-deserved big box office grosser to his name. Fighter was released on January 25, 2024.
