Crew, starring Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Kriti Sanon, has surprised everyone with its rocking box office performance during the opening weekend. Now, the film has entered weekdays, and it seems that the Monday test will be passed with flying colors. Today, on day 4, the trend is really good as the milestone of 1 crore is already crossed through advance booking. Keep reading to know more!

Reception among audiences

Directed by Rajesh A Krishnan, the film released on 29th March, and upon its arrival, mixed reviews from critics flew in. However, when it comes to the ticket-buying audience, the majority of them are giving a thumbs up to the content. Females have been the biggest chunk of audiences so far, and they are liking the film very much, resulting in word-of-mouth spreading like wildfire.

Day 4 advance booking update of Crew

After the impressive run during the opening weekend, Crew needs to show a good hold with a less than 50% drop as compared to Friday’s 10.21 crores. It looks like the film is on the right track, as tickets worth 1.15 crores gross (excluding blocked seats) have already been sold through advance booking for day 4. It’s a drop of 56% if compared to Friday’s 2.65 crores gross, but one can’t forget that the film enjoyed the benefit of Good Friday. So, overall, it’s a good momentum.

Considering pre-sales for today, Crew might end up earning 5 or more crores, which will be really good for the first weekday if compared with the opening day collection of 10.21 crores.

Aiming for a bigger milestone

Based on the response and word-of-mouth, Crew is aiming to hit the 100 crore milestone at the Indian box office. If this happens, it’ll be the third Bollywood film to enter the 100-crore club in 2024. Only Fighter and Shaitaan have achieved this feat so far, and this Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Kriti Sanon starrer has a chance to do it.
