Crakk Box Office Collection Day 1: Vidyut Jammwal Gets Third Highest-Opener Of His Career
Prior to the pandemic, Vidyut Jammwal was taking 4-5 crore opening on a regular basis. His Commando franchise was set at certain levels, and then his Junglee, too, took a decent start. Then came the pandemic, and since films were not released in theatres, he diverted his attention to OTT, where his Khuda Haafiz: Chapter One did quite well.
He returned to theatres with Khuda Haafiz: Chapter 2 and IB 71, but then one missed the kind of opening that his films had been taking pre-pandemic.
Well, with Crackk, this wait has ended as it has emerged as the third biggest opener of his career. The film has managed to edge past Commando, though it is below Commando 2 and Commando 3.

- Commando 2 – 5.15 crore
- Commando 3 – 4.74 crore
- Crackk – 4.11 crore
- Commando – 3.69 crore
- Junglee – 3.35 crore
The film by Aditya Datt will now be looking at competing with films above it when it comes to the first weekend and first week numbers. While Commando 3 boasts of his biggest weekend ever at 18.33 crore, Commando 2 follows next at 15.74 crore.
While Friday was certainly aided by Cinema Lovers Day, regular ticket rates will be from today onwards. Hence, one waits to see how collections emerge today as that would give a much better idea of where the weekend is headed for.
