Angry Boney Kapoor yelled at the paparazzi after they tried to get too close outside Anil Kapoor’s house.
Boney Kapoor got angry at the paparazzi on Wednesday night when he was visiting Anil Kapoor. In a video shared by Filmgyan, Boney was seen greeting the media at Anil’s house on Karwa Chauth night. The producer stepped out the house to greet the media but lost his cool when they did not respect his boundaries. The paparazzi were seen growing closer and closer to the gate, making it difficult for him to step out and pose for the cameras.
When the mob refused to listen, Boney yelled at them. “Thoda door jaao!” he shouted before he decided to walk away from the cameras. The video has gone viral. Watch the video below:
For the event, Boney was seen wearing a blue kurta and pyjama. The producer joined Anil Kapoor and family for Karwa Chauth. Earlier in the evening, Bollywood wives including Natasha Dalal, Shilpa Shetty, Mira Rajput and Geeta Basra, gathered at Anil Kapoor’s Mumbai residence to celebrate the festival. Following the puja, Shilpa and Raj Kundra were seen making their way to Anil’s house to participate in the puja and break their fast.
Meanwhile, Boney has been busy with his upcoming projects. The producer was supposed to release his film, Maidaan, this year. However, the film has been put on hold. Speaking with The New Indian Express about it, Boney said the pandemic, unpredictable weather, and other unforeseen circumstances ended up causing major delays and budget overages in the Ajay Devgn-starrer.
Boney also revealed that he has not received a good amount of insurance either to cover the losses that happened due to multiple delays. “Besides Maidaan, there’s not a single penny I owe anyone,” he asserted. “I never get demoralised. I catch the bull by the horns, and I sleep peacefully. But I’ve been having sleepless nights recently because of Maidaan. But for the first time in my life, I feel the situation is not in my control.”
