The announcement was accompanied by a striking promotional poster featuring BLACKPINK member Jennie in a stunning red mini-dress.

BLACKPINK member Jennie’s single You & Me isn’t going to remain as her concert performance anymore. The track that rejoiced BLINKS during the group’s world tour has finally got a release date. The response to You & Me was so overwhelming that YG Entertainment decided to announce the single by unveiling its title poster via social media on Wednesday, October 4. The dreamy graphic unveils Jennie’s bold avatar in a red mini-dress but what’s more alluring is the lunar backdrop that adds to her beauty. With a pigtail hairdo, the illuminated still shows Jennie shutting her eyes while embracing the trance vibes of the theme.

According to a report by NME, the BLACKPINK member first debuted You & Me at the opening concert of the Born Pink tour in Seoul, South Korea last year. Notable, the all-girl band also performed a remixed version of the track during their Coachella 2023 set and at BST Hyde Park months ago. Dubbed “special song” by YG Entertainment, You & Me is scheduled for a release on Friday, October 6.

As soon as the announcement surfaced online, BLINKS couldn’t control their excitement and Jennie soon began trending on X. “You & Me finally comes out on October 6. BLINKS we won,” wrote one fan.

Another said, “Ahhh finally! Looks so good!”

One more reacted, “Queen Jennie is coming.”

Meanwhile, a user demanded, “Jennie comeback finally. We need her album now.”

In a press release, YG Entertainment regarded the upcoming song as a “special memento” for all fans. “We decided to officially release it out of gratitude to the fans who ardently followed and supported us during the ‘Born Pink’ world tour. We hope it will serve as a special memento, rekindling the emotion of that time,” said the agency.

Notably, the BLACKPINK member debuted solo with the track titled Solo in 2018. This was followed by her feature in Weeknd’s One of the Girls earlier this year. The track also featuring Lily-Rose Depp serves as the first track of the trio’s HBO show The Idol.
