Article 370 Box Office Collection Day 9: Shows Very Good Growth Again On 2nd Saturday!

Just like the first weekend when the trend was quite positive for the film, the second weekend, too, is seeing some very good growth already. While on Friday the collections were 3.12 crores, on Saturday the film jumped almost 70%, which is really good. The collections have come to 5.25 crores, and that has set the momentum just right for the film. Anything in excess of 4 crores would have been a good number, and here, the film has added more than a crore as well, which is really impressive.

The Yami Gautam starrer has now reached 47.19 crores, and while it was a known fact that the 50 crore mark would be crossed by the close of the second weekend, this is now going to happen rather comfortably. At the very least, the film will gather 6 crores today, and that would set up well for some healthy weekdays ahead.

For Yami Gautam, this is going to be her second consecutive theatrical winner. Last year, it was OMG 2, and there she played a lawyer with shades of grey. With Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi leading the show, the film had gone ahead and netted over 150 crores. Now the manner in which Article 370 is doing, the film will do at least half this business, which would be really good considering Yami is the most popular face in there, with Priyamani lending very good support.
