Alia Bhatt Shares Photos in Black and White Pantsuit from Jigra Sets, Fans Speculate A Lawyer’s Role

Alia Bhatt recently announced her upcoming movie titled Jigra. Alia is not just playing the lead in the film but is also producing it. In a recent interview, Alia opened up about venturing into production and shared that it is ‘exciting and overwhelming’ at the same time.
Not long back, the 30-year-old actress talked about Jigra and opened up about its plot. She revealed that the film is a story of ‘courage, passion and determination’. “Just a little over a year later, we are ready to launch our second production – Jigra, a beautiful story of courage, passion and determination. I hope to consistently support compelling narratives that are authentic, and enduringly timeless and work with brilliant creative minds to bring them alive,” Alia said, as quoted by Film Companion.
Alia, who’s shooting for the Vasan Bala film in Mumbai, took to social media to share a pair of stunning monochromatic photos captured behind the scenes of the film. The first photo she can be seen getting ready for a scene in a white shirt and lawyer-like black coat, with makeup artists meticulously perfecting her look for the shot. In the second photo, Alia sheds the coat and poses against a glass window of sorts. She strikes a pose that exudes confidence, locking eyes with the camera.

Given the look of the coat, many, in the comments section, speculated that Alia might be playing a lawyer in the film.
Earlier this month, Alia announced Jigra with its first look video which begins with a quote by GK Chesterton flashing on the screen. The quote reads, “The paradox of courage is that one must be a little careless of life in order to keep it.” The video then proceeds to show Alia with a bag on her shoulder. She is standing in the streets of what seems to be Japan.
