Koffee With Karan Season 8: Alia Bhatt spilled the beans on her personal and professional life as she appeared on the latest episode of Koffee With Karan Season 8, where she was joined by her sister-in-law, actress Kareena Kapoor. Alia also opened up about several misapprehensions that people have about her.
During a rapid fire segment, host Karan Johar asked Alia to reveal “the biggest misconception” that people have about her. The actress replied, “It’s the age of the internet. Someday I have got buccal fat surgery, someday I’m whitening my skin, someday I’m having marriage issues. Misconceptions are misconceptions, so they don’t bother me.”
A clip of this particular segment from the episode is going viral on Reddit, with netizens sharing their opinions in the comment section. Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt also reacted to the internet calling her husband, Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor, ‘toxic’ and a ‘red flag.’ A few months back, Ranbir was labelled as a ‘toxic husband’ after Alia revealed that he doesn’t like when she wears any lip colour and often asks her to ‘wipe that off’. When asked to share her thoughts about the controversy on Koffee With Karan, Alia told Karan Johar, “I have a very candid way of speaking so even when I’m talking about anything in my life, I like to imitate the person that I’m talking about, I like to give anecdotes, I like to make it personal. I feel like a lot of things just get picked out of context which happened recently.”
