These reports are not confirmed yet. The excitement around this film has been amped up with the release of actress Trisha Krishnan’s character poster from Leo. Banner Seven Screen Studio has unveiled this poster on Twitter with the caption, “Unveiling the most-awaited look …”. The poster shows Trisha holding a bag, dressed in an Indian outfit and looking horrified, while blood drops are also splattered everywhere.

Social media users loved the poster. One of them tweeted a video of Vijay and Trisha dancing to some popular Tamil songs. “Separate fan base for Thalapathy & Trisha”, read the caption.

Another user asked the makers when they will unveil Vijay’s poster.

Vijay’s followers were, however, disheartened when the trailer launch event for Leo was cancelled. This event was to be screened on a massive scale at the car parking area of Rohini Silver Screens. The Koyambedu police denied permission for this outdoor event due to security concerns. According to reports by The Indian Express, the management of Rohini Silver Screens had earlier sought permission to hold the event in the open car parking area.

An official statement from the police elaborated that they couldn’t guarantee security for the large crowd. As a result, they suggested that the event be conducted within the theatre complex, where they could deploy the necessary police force. The theatre management was also advised to approach the city police commissioner if they still wished to hold the event outdoors.

Leo will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
