Actor Austin Dan Thomas Takes Charge As Director Of Ashiq Usman’s Next

Austin Dan Thomas, known for his roles in Thallumaala and Vijay Superum Pournamiyum, is going to make his directorial debut in collaboration with Ashiq Usman Productions. Notably, Austin previously served as the chief associate director for Anjaam Pathiraa, another project produced by Ashiq Usman.

Nishad Yusuf, known for his editing work on Thallumala, is now donning multiple hats as the writer of the story, screenplay and dialogues for this film. With this film, the actor will make his debut in scriptwriting, following his recognition with the Kerala State Awards for editing in Thallumaala. Cinematographer Jimshi Khalid, acclaimed for his work in the same film, continues to be part of this project. As of now, the film’s full cast and crew details remain under wraps.

Austin Dan Thomas has also worked for films like Anjaam Pathiraa, Ganagandharvan and Argentina Fans Kaattoorkadavu. He last appeared in Thallumaala.

Directed by Khalid Rahman, Thallumaala featured Tovino Thomas, Kalyani Priyadarshan and Shine Tom Chacko in the lead roles. Penned by Ashraf Hamza and Muhsin Parari, the film revolves around a young man who is all set to tie the knot but encounters humorous situations that completely alter his wedding plans. Produced by Ashiq Usman, the film received a good response at the box office.
