A screening of Mirzapur: The Movie turned unpleasant for two women after they reportedly encountered a rowdy crowd inside a theatre. The incident came to light through a video shared on Saturday, in which one of them explained why they decided to walk out during the interval.

According to her, they did not leave because they disliked the film. In fact, she said they were enjoying Mirzapur: The Movie and having a good time until the behaviour of some people in the audience spoiled their experience. Watch the video below.

Speaking in the video, she said, “We came out of the theatre, not because the film was bad, but because the crowd was so bad. Daaru pee kar aa rakhe hain log (People have come drunk). Now everyone has come out, hassled, saying, ‘Get those people out, then we’ll go back in.’”

She further said that they were aware that the atmosphere at the screening could be a little noisy, but they did not expect things to get this unpleasant. “We knew the crowd would not be great, but did not expect it to be so bad. We were having such fun in the film, though,” she added.

The two women eventually chose not to continue watching the film after the interval, claiming that their concerns were not properly addressed by the theatre management. They were reportedly expecting action against those creating trouble, but decided to leave when the situation did not improve.

The video has now drawn attention online, with many viewers reacting to the incident and discussing the importance of maintaining basic discipline inside cinema halls.
