This Actor, Known For His Performance In Omkara, Didn’t Think Twice Before Paying His Friend’s Liver Surgery Bill

He once dreamt of earning Rs 1 lakh through his art. Moving forward to 2025, he has left an indelible mark on the film industry.

The actor is Deepak Dobriyal. His close friend Manu Rishi Chadha, in a recent chat, recalled one act of Dobriyal that screamed kindness and loyalty.

Chadha mentioned in a Scene Kya Hai podcast that he and Deepak came from very different financial backgrounds while growing up, yet their friendship remained solid.

He recalled always having money in his pocket while Deepak rarely did, but that did not stop him from dreaming big.

According to Chadha, Deepak once said that earning just Rs 1 lakh through acting would make him feel successful in life.

As years passed and Deepak’s career flourished, Chadha found himself in a situation where he needed to borrow money.

He called Deepak Dobriyal and asked whether he had received payment for an ad shoot, and Deepak replied honestly with a yes.

Chadha asked for Rs 10,000 and there was no emergency. He simply wanted to buy expensive shoes and clothes.

Years later, when a mutual friend suffered liver failure, Chadha again reached out and asked the actor for a whopping Rs 25 lakh.

Without asking even a single question, Deepak simply said, “I’ll pay the entire amount,” and transferred the money within five minutes.
