The Independence Day weekend is going to be exciting as some highly-anticipated movies are set to release in theatres. It’s time to say Hindostan Zindabad as Sunny Deol as Tara Singh is once again going to Pakistan to save his family. Superstar Rajinikanth is returning with his full swag in Nelson’s black comedy action movie Jailer. Apart from these two big releases, Akshay Kumar would hope to deliver his first hit in a long time with OMG 2. So, there is plenty to look forward to. Gadar 2

Tara Singh is back. Gadar 2: The Katha Continues, a sequel to 2001’s blockbuster Gadar is all geared up to set the box office on fire. Directed by Anil Sharma, the movie is set in 1971 during the Crush India movement and follows Tara Singh as he travels to Lahore, Pakistan to bring his son back who is imprisoned and tortured by the Pakistan soldiers under Major General Hamid Iqbal.

How he foils their efforts is what forms the plot of this Nelson-directional black comedy actioner. The movie will release in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada.

Bholaa Shankar

Cast: Chiranjeevi, Tamannaah Bhatia, Keerthy Suresh and Sushanth

Directed by Meher Ramesh, Bhola Shankar is a Telugu action drama movie starring Chiranjeevi as the titular character with Tamannaah Bhatia, Keerthy Suresh and Sushanth. It is an official remake of the 2015 Tamil film Vedalam.

Heart of Stone

Cast: Gal Gadot, Jamie Dornan, Alia Bhatt, Sophie Okonedo, and Matthias Schweighöfer.

Directed by Tom Harper, Heart of Stone is a spy action thriller set to premiere on Netflix.
