Zendaya and Gigi Hadid wear Indian Saree at NMACC in Mumbai


Hollywood and Bollywood celebrities have arrived at Mumbai’s Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre for the second day of the event. While Zendaya looked stunning in a blue sequined saree by designer Rahul Mishra, supermodel Gigi Hadid chose a white and gold saree by designer Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. Together with them was actor Tom Holland, who appeared in a suit.

The Spider-man co-stars were also spotted arriving together at the Mumbai airport on Friday when paparazzi photos of them flooded the internet. They were also spotted at a Starbucks in Mumbai by a fan.

Apart from having acted together in the Spider-man franchise, the two are also in a long-term relationship. Many fans expected them to walk the red carpet at Friday’s event as well, but it was only met with disappointment. Besides Holland and Zendaya, several other Hollywood stars arrived in India in the last week.

Game of Thrones actress Maisie Williams and Bridgerton actress Simone Ashley attended Dior’s pre-fall fashion presentation in Mumbai on Thursday. The gala was also attended by Cara Delevingne, Phakphum Romsaithong (Mile), Nattawin Wattanagitiphat (Apo), and Karlie Kloss. Nick Jona also took to Instagram and posted a selfie captioned ‘India… I’ve missed you.’

Actress Malaika Arora too arrived in a gorgeous statement costume. On the red carpet, she was joined by boyfriend-actor Arjun Kapoor. In addition to them, Bhumi Pednekar and Anusha Dandekar were photographed in exquisite evening gowns.

Nita Ambani and NMACC

During the grand opening Nita Ambani expressed ‘This is like a dream come true’. Multi-disciplinary cultural space, the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre, was opened on Friday, aimed to showcase the best of India across music, theatre, fine arts and crafts to the world. It was named after the founder and chairperson of Reliance Foundation Nita Mukesh Ambani. The cultural centre is housed within the Jio World Centre, located in the heart of Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex.
