Yash’s Toxic to Get a Solo Release:

The box office clash between Yash’s Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups and Ranbir Kapoor’s Love and War generated considerable buzz, but it now appears that the clash is likely to be averted. Toxic will have a solo release on Eid 2026, as Love and War faces production delays.

Eid 2026 is one of the most advantageous dates for the movie business in 2026, as it includes multiple holidays that will enhance ticket sales. Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal’s romantic drama was intending to capitalize on the same festival benefits, but the announcement of Toxic for the same release date complicated matters for the film. The clash would have hampered the business of both films, but with Love and War being delayed, Toxic secures a lucrative holiday weekend all to itself, unless another film is scheduled for the same day.

“Love and War’s shoot began on time, but there has been a delay from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s end. The film was expected to conclude by November 2025, but according to the latest planned schedule, SLB aims to finish the film by February 2026. The new release date for Love and War will be mid-2026,” a trade source told Bollywood Hungama.

Meanwhile, the Toxic team still has a few schedules to complete, and the film will be ready by the beginning of next year. Yash will then dive into Ramayana, which stars Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role.
