War 2 proceeds with body doubles; Hrithik Roshan to join late in April –
War 2 Patchwork:
War 2, featuring Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR in the lead, is still incomplete. The reason for the delay is Hrithik’s recent injury, as he is taking longer than expected to recover. Nevertheless, director Ayan Mukerji proceeded with body doubles in a brief schedule and completed the patchwork. Hrithik will be joining by the end of this month and will finish the spy action drama in May 2025.
MidDay’s latest report reveals that Ayan has finished patchwork with body doubles in Mazgaon Dock, Mumbai. In the meantime, Ayan and the team have been working on the film’s post-production concerning the actions of lead actor Roshan.

Hrithik Roshan to join War 2 later:
“The patch shoot was carried out with body doubles and junior artists. Hrithik is still in recovery, undergoing regular movement training and physiotherapy. He’s expected to resume filming towards the end of April once he gets the go-ahead from his medical team,” a source told the portal.
The report also added that the film is not looking for any postponement despite the delay in production. “The makers are confident about wrapping the film by May. There’s a tight turnaround ahead, but YRF [Yash Raj Films] is accustomed to managing massive schedules. Hrithik is being monitored closely, and the dance scenes will resume only when he’s 100 percent fit. The film will be released as scheduled on August 14,” said the source.
