Triptii Dimri’s rumoured boyfriend Sam Merchant reacted to a meme trolling Kartik Aaryan’s look from his upcoming film. In the meme, he’s compared to Ahaan Panday of Saiyaara.

Triptii Dimri and Kartik Aaryan shared screen space in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, but when the actress didn’t join the film’s promotions, it sparked buzz about possible tension between the two. Soon after, reports of her not being part of Kartik’s next film only fuelled rumours of a fallout.

Now, a viral meme has brought that chatter back into focus. The post trolled Kartik’s intense, scruffy look from his upcoming musical drama, comparing it to the surprise success of Saiyaara. The meme took a jab at Kartik’s “beggar look” and joked that Saiyaara ended up stealing the spotlight instead.

The caption read: “Bhai pura time bhikhari look mai hype banata reh gaya. Udhar Saiyaara ne baazi maar li.” What really caught attention, though, was Triptii’s rumoured boyfriend Sam Merchant dropping several laughing emojis in the comments section. While he didn’t say anything directly, the timing of his reaction didn’t go unnoticed by fans.

Kartik’s next film, a romantic musical directed by Anurag Basu and co-starring Sreeleela, has been generating interest for a while. Though initially expected to release around Diwali this year, it may face delays. The film, once linked to Aashiqui 3, has since taken on a new direction but remains untitled as of now.

Meanwhile, Saiyaara has captured audiences with its emotional depth and music, drawing comparisons to earlier romantic dramas. With Triptii now out of the picture for Kartik’s next, and Sam’s cheeky online reaction making rounds, fans are left wondering whether there’s more to the story than meets the eye.

Triptii Dimri and Sam Merchant were recently seen vacationing together in Goa. Earlier, they were also spotted by their eagle-eyed fans in Finland, celebrating the New Year while enjoying the Northern Lights, amongst other trips.

Additionally, Sam can often be seen cheering for Triptii at her various professional developments. For instance, when she was recently roped in Prabhas’ starrer Spirit, the hotelier reposted her announcement post on his Instagram Stories alongside a few clapping emojis.

Kartik Aaryan is currently busy with the shoot of Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, while Triptii will start shooting for Spirit.
