Film Studio Merryland Cinemas has created a buzz with its upcoming film Varshangalkku Shesham, directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan. Excitement is high among the audience as Sakthi Film Factory, a major film distribution company in Tamil Nadu, has secured the distribution rights for the film. The film stars Dhyan Sreenivasan and Pranav Mohanlal in the lead roles.

Joining them in the cast are Aju Varghese, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Basil Joseph, Vineeth Srinivasan, Neeraj Madhav, Neeta Pillai, Arjun Lal, Aswat Lal, Kalesh Ramnath, and Shaan Rahman. Produced by Visakh Subramaniam, the movie is scheduled for release in theatres on April 11.

Amrit Ramnath is handling the music and original background score for this highly anticipated project. Viswajith Odukkathil is in charge of cinematography, and Ranjan Abraham is editing the film. The video was released by Mohanlal on X (formerly Twitter). Sharing the trailer, he wrote, “The much-awaited Malayalam film #Varshangalkkushesham trailer is out now. Releasing worldwide on April 11th, 2024.”

The Varshangalkku Shesham trailer shows the friendship between Murali (played by Pranav Mohanlal) and Venu (played by Dhyan Sreenivasan), who aspire to become successful actors in the film industry. It depicts their journey to Kodambakkam to pursue their dreams.

So far, the trailer has garnered over 4,267,263 views and is still counting more. Several social media users have commented on the trailer. One user wrote, “Came here to see Pranav and others but stunned with the performance of Dhyan.” Another user added, “Every single shot of Pranav is reminding me of a Vintage Mohanlal Movie.”

Vineeth Sreenivasan is known for his romantic movies like Thattathin Marayathu in 2012 and Hridayam in 2022. This time, he is experimenting with a different genre with Varshangalkku Shesham. This film marks Vineeth Sreenivasan’s sixth directorial. Before this project, he was behind films such as Malarvaadi Arts Club, Thattathin Marayathu, Thira, Jacobinte Swargarajyam and Hridayam.
